What is Guided Imagery?

Experiencing Guided Imagery is like watching a movie. You become the observer of your own thoughts. The Guided Imagery therapist is a guide or coach to help comfort you into a state of lucidity; an awake relaxed state of mind. As you enter into lucidity, the movie in your mind becomes clearer and active. The senses come alive and movement begins. At this state of a guided imagery, your mind has the capacity to edit the movie. You can take away what is not serving you and add what does. Life is a constant state of movement, it’s not stagnant. Using Guided Imagery will assist you to transition clearly and in comfort, taking small steps along the way. How we view our world may change; applying empathy toward familial members of our life is a call to lifestyle wellness. Transitions are expected when life shifts us to move toward wellness to bring lifestyle dynamics back to harmony.
